Affiliation
Friendship Baptist Church will be affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, the Arkansas Baptist State Convention, and the Faulkner County Baptist Association, so long as these affiliations do not infringe upon the church’s freedom of government nor seek to alter or change any belief or practice which we hold dear.
The mission of Friendship Baptist Church is to:
As Christ commanded in Matthew 28:19, “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.”
To fulfill this mission Friendship Baptist Church will:
- Be a dynamic spiritual body empowered by the Holy Spirit to share Christ with as many people as possible in our church, community, and throughout the world.
- Be a worshipping fellowship, experiencing an awareness of God, recognizing His person, and responding in obedience to His leadership.
- Experience an increasingly meaningful fellowship with God and fellow believers.
- Help people experience a growing knowledge of God and man.
- Be a church that ministers unselfishly to persons in the community and world in Jesus’ name.
- Be a church whose member’s purpose is to be Christ-like in our daily living by emphasizing total commitment of life, personality and possessions to the Lordship of Christ.
